1 MORE DAY BEFORE THE YONGSEO'S FIRST ANNIVERSARY!!!!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT AND REMINDERS WITH REGARDS TO THE TRENDING ACTIVITY:
1. We will have two trending periods to celebrate YongSeo's First Anniversary. The first one will be called pre-trending and the other one is the official trending. I'll elaborate this later.

2. We will do scheduling of tweets for our trending activities. For those using TweetDeck, you can schedule your tweets every minute. For those who's using FutureTweets, you can schedule your tweets every second.


Why are we scheduling our tweets?
For a hashtag or a word to be included in the Trending Topic List, it would require massive and at the same time consecutive number of mentions. It is not enough that you mention the word once in a while. It is important that we mention the word/hashtag a lot of times at the same period. To make things easier for everyone, we have to schedule our tweets ahead of time so that we can make sure that at least in every minute we have a tweet allocated for the trending activity. Another reason for this is the fact that typing fast is exhausting. Through scheduling of tweets, we don't have to type like a machine or robot just to reach our goal. It's all about being prepared if you want to reach your goal.
I, personally, haven't tried this for trending activities but I'm sure that it wouldn't harm any of us if we will try. This is also the purpose of the pre-trending. I have decided to push through with the pre-trending to determine the capacity of this scheduling tool on twitter. If we succeed on the pre-trending tomorrow then it's a good sign for the official trending and it only means that this scheduling tool is efficient.
Again, there's no harm in trying this method!

Here's the step-by step procedure for FutureTweets:1. Go to http://futuretweets.com/
2. Click the Sign-up tab.

3. Click the Allow button.

4. Twitter will redirect you to the Schedule Page of FutureTweets. Once you're there, click the Settings tab to edit your timezone setting.

5. Edit the time based on your timezone and then once you're done, click Save.

6. Go back to the Schedule tab and start making your post and setting the time when you want your tweets to appear. Once you're done with all the editing, click Schedule. From there, your tweets will appear on it's scheduled time.

3. Pre-trending Activity will commence on February 11, 2011 at exactly 12AM KST. We are highly encouraging everyone to include the wordYongSeo on all of your tweets once the pre-trending activity starts. Make sure that your tweets are not repetitive (e.g. mentioning YongSeo FTW on your consecutive tweets) because it'll be considered as SPAM.
4. Official trending Activity will start at exactly 11:00PM KST on February 11, 2011. For this one, we are requiring the fans who have twitter account to join. We will use the hashtag #YongSeo1stAnniv for this activity. Make sure that you include #YongSeo1stAnniv on all your tweets once the the official trending starts. Again, please don't do repetitive tweets because they will be considered as SPAM.

5. How can we avoid SPAM? Aside from not tweeting repetitive and almost alike posts, it is also important that you only mention the word/hashtag once on your every tweet. Don't make a post like this (YongSeo YongSeo YongSeo) or (#YongSeo1stAnniv #YongSeo1stAnniv #YongSeo1stAnniv) Please don't waste your time typing in that format because it will just be put into waste since it's a SPAM.

6. Make sure that you type the correct word/ hashtag. It is YongSeo and #YongSeo1stAnniv. Don't use any other combination just to please yourself. It is also important that you accounts are in public so for those Gogumas who have private account, please temporarily change the setting of your accounts on February 11, 2011

7. This may be a tiring activity, but please take this period as chance where you can meet a lot of Gogumas around the world. We once made it to the World Wide Trending Topic List so I believe we can do it again if we'll all work together.
