I personally think Seohyun wearing ring is more than just fan service, seeing so much effort she put into making the new ring for Yong's birthday gift & seeing she took notice when Yong didn't wear his in 'push & pull' time.
I myself find it a BONUS if Yong or Hyun wear their rings, but if not it's alright since they have to wear what they wear according to their coordinators.
Gyun looks byoootiful and i see the ring ding dong, but they all look tired/bored to be here -don't they??!

HOnestly, I think the fact that SeoHyun wears the ring or not is irrelevant to her feelings for YongHwa. Maybe she just wears it as a habit.
