During the February 28th episode of SBS’s Strong Heart, SNSD‘s Seohyun revealed that SNSD had almost declined appearing on The David Letterman Show.
Seohyun went on to state,
“We realized how popular this show was in America. Tiffany even cried when we received the invitation to perform on the show. However, we initially were talking about not going through with it. It was such a huge show, we didn’t think that we would be prepared for it, so we were going to decline.
Also the stage was smaller than what we were used to because The David Letterman Show was a talk show. We didn’t think that we’d all be able to fit on that stage and we wouldn’t be able to perform at our best.
Also another reason was because of the song. Americans were more used to the remix version of the song and not the original. But after having discussions with the staff, and after they decided to enlarge the stage for us, we decided to go through with it and we prepared really hard.”
It is really hard to believe that SNSD was planning on not going through with their performance on David Letterman.
