Girls’ Generation has been nominated in the ”2012 MelOn Music Awards”. The “2012 MelOn Music Awards” will be held on December 14th at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. It will be hosted by LOEN Entertainment and MBC Plus Media, music companies that run MelOn.

The first voting cycle, which will pick the top 10, will open on November 15th until November 28th. The results will be revealed on MelOn’s homepage on November 29th. The 30 nominees for the “2012 MelOn Music Awards” were chosen by calculating the number of downloads, which accounted for 60% of the vote, and streaming number, which accounted for 40% of the vote.
