– Why did you study music in Japan?
Yonghwa: Because there are various kinds of bands in Japan.
Jonghyun: Many and various band.
Yonghwa: We are studying various kinds of music in Japan.
Jonghyun: I bought the CD of BUMP-san (BUMP OF CHICKEN) yesterday too.

(when they stayed in japan, at Shinjuku station)

Jungshin: We made paper (fliers).. CNBLUE.
Jonghyun: This was not the permitted area for street live performance, but we didn’t know it so we played anyway (laugh). It was very hard. I’ve gotten very thin (at that time). I lost about 12 kg of my weight.
Yonghwa: At first our fans were only 3 people.
Minhyuk: At first (nodding).

MC: Started with only 3 people, but at the recent outdoor live they gathered about 10,000 people. In addition the audience has no placard or paper fan like other Kpop idols’ fans. They are competing with only their sound as a rock band, they are the band of a hard-liner.

Yonghwa: We want to become a band that can compete with our live performances.

– Do you enjoy living together?
All: Yes.
Yonghwa: (to Minhyuk) Is it fun?..huhu (laugh).
Jonghyun: Yes, it’s fun.

Yonghwa: There are big ad posters at Shibuya..
Minhyuk: I heard about it (laugh)
Yonghwa: I was surprised.

– Just like your song ‘In My Head’, what are you thinking now, in your head?
Jonghyun: Nihon go muzukashii na~ (Japanese is difficult).
Minhyuk: We all has same thought.
Yonghwa: Madamada desu nee~ (we still are not good at it yet, I think).

MC: But their Japanese are good enough.
