CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa is actively exerting himself as a singer-songwriter.
According to his agency, Jung Yong Hwa has released 17 songs, just in the first half of this year.
After presenting his composition, “Fool”, to the same agency’s rookie female singer Juniel, he also gave his song “Love is only you” to a newly debuted girl group AOA (Ace of Angels).
His impressive songwriting activities add to this list the recently released “Friday”, and the 9 songs that will be included in CNBLUE’s first major album in Japan. “Ear Fun”, CNBLUE’s third mini album released last March, also contained 5 of his compositions.
Jung Yong Hwa is recognized for his ability to write in diverse genres, ranging from hard rock music for the band to sweet duet tunes such as Juniel’s “Fool”, as well as R&B pop for the girl group AOA and trendy pop for the brand song “Friday”.
His agency remarked, “Jung Yong Hwa has been constantly writing new songs between his schedules. He’s also working on songs for the next Korean album.”
Starting with their third Japanese single released on 8/1, “Come on”, CNBLUE will continue to concentrate on their activities in Japan with the first full length album on the 29th.
