Girls’ Generation will be receiving Japan Best Jewellery Wearer Special Award!
Officials from Japan’s largest international jewelry trade show, International Jewelery Tokyo (IJT) stated on November 9th, “Girls’ Generation has been selected as the recipient of the 23rd Japan Best Jewellery Wearer Special Award for Female Category”. The award ceremony is scheduled to be held on January 11th, 2012 which is the opening day of the 23rd International Jewellery Tokyo (IJT 2012) event which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight, Odaiba from January 11th to 14th next year.
This will be the 3rd time in a row that Hallyu stars were selected as the recipients of the special awards. In January last year, actor Lee ByungHun received the award while in January 2011, actor Won Bin was named the winner of the Japan Best Jewellery Wearer Special Award for Male Category.
