SM Entertainment artists will finally take stage at MAMA after the end of a long dispute.
MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) held a press conference at Sangamdong CGV this morning with CJ E&M President Kim Seongsu, Singapore’s Mediacorp vice president Wee Way Kiat, Soo Siew Keong from the Singapore Tourism Board, Mnet’s Production Director Shin Hyeongkwan, and director Kim Dongjoon.
When asked if SM artists will be able to participate, Shin Hyeongkwan replied “You will be able to see SM artists in this year’s MAMA”, indicating that the air of animosity had been cleared. Mnet and SM Entertainment had been feuding due to the issue of revenue division.
It was revealed that TVXQ, Girls’ Generation, Super Junior and other SM artists were named as performers for the show.
“2011 MAMA” will be broadcast at 7pm(+9 GMT) on the 29th of November from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
