CN Blue’s agency FNC Music stated, “The second major single album ‘Where You Are’ which was released on February 1 sold 32,000 albums and reached #1 on the Oricon Daily Single Chart.” The songs “Where You Are” and “Feeling” was written and produced by Jung Yong Hwa. Lee Jong Hyun produced “Get Away.”
CN Blue also made a statement after they heard of reaching #1 on the Oricon Daily Single Chart. They stated, “After our major debut we have only released two singles but it feels like a dream that we reached #1 on the Oricon Daily Single Chart. We will keep trying our best to share good music with more people.”
CN Blue appeared on the rock festival “COUNTDOWN JAPAN” as the first non-Japanese band. CN Blue was also the first Korean singer to appear on the Japanese MTV “Unplugged.”

CNBLUE takes #1 on the Oricon charts with “Where You Are”
According to Oricon, CNBLUE sold over 30,000 copies of their new single. After hearing about their success, CNBLUE commented that they were “extremely grateful for the support they’ve received” and that having a #1 single so quickly after making their major debut was “almost like a dream.”
Aside from the single’s achievement, CNBLUE also made an appearance on MTV Japan’s Unplugged on January 31st, becoming the first Korean act to do so.
